Laval Virtual 09′, video of the application
mindflow, demonstration in Laval Virtual from Toni Da Luz.
Laval Virtual ‘09, app demonstration
During Laval Virtual ‘09, I had the excellent opportunity to show (and better, let people try) my interface. Actually, the staff Immersion S.A.S gives me the chance to use this application on its multitouch table iLight. The following pictures show some demonstrations during this exhibition. It was interesting to see that the “touch effect” stills exist even in a professional exhibition of VR. This interface was imagined for a collective awareness, but during exhibition people only wanted to “touch”. That’s why some strange behaviors appeared, it was very entertaining, and it revealed some problems and some new ways interaction for next versions. (videos will come soon)

mindflow, the concept on paper.
After an experimentation of mind-mapping with some people, on a real sheet of paper, I decided to work on interactions behaviors on multitouch table, in order to create an interface coherent with collaborative designing environment. But to design these interactions (and because I don’t have multitouch table at home
) I preferred to start working by drawing on paper an manipulate pieces of paper, to think about all kinds of situations, and not be guided by the technologies at the beginning . This video explains the concept of Mindflow, but it was also a perfect tool to confirm or refute hypothesis of interactions. (for the moment it’s in french but I will make an english version as soon as possible).
mindflow [work in progress] from Toni Da Luz.
mindflow ?
Mindflow is a concept of mind-mapping, on multitouch table, in order to increase creativity during face-to-face collaborative design, but also an help to decision making.
